I need a new phone

It barely lasted a year. My pink razor that was so amazingly cute lasted three years and even survived three nights in a snowbank in front of my parents house. I hate phones because you never know what you're going to get. Jeff says I should get a droid, but that whole touch screen thing drives me insane. He likes having the internet, but what's the point when every time you try to look something up it takes forever to load and ends up being a waste of your time? I don't care about music on my phone or anything like that I just want one that the battery stays charged and doesn't just randomly freeze up and disconnect calls. Why can't there be such a phone in existence?!

The beautiful roses g-ma and g-pa brought me with a get well card.






Apparently I looked pretty pathetic hobbling into the ER. They labeled me as a 'fall risk'

HELP!

Now that Jeff has finished the bathroom (and it looks awesome!) I really want something to tie together the decor, but I can't find it! I need a small square vase in oil rubbed bronze to put flowers (most likely fake, who am I kidding? Of course fake) in and I can't find one. I've included a picture of what I am looking for. I found this on a website, but unfortunately I can't order it because it's in Europe. So if you see anything like this if you wouldn't mind picking it up for me (I'll pay you back) or calling me and telling me where it is then that would be EXCELLENT!

Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder . .

or you end up stalking your favorite celebrity causing you to lose your job and family then wind up living on the streets selling body parts for drugs. Why would this happen you ask? I watched the final episode of the third season of Chuck last night! It hurts and I try to hold back the tears, but going 7 months without seeing Zachary Levi again is just wrong! That's why I am so grateful for facebook. It will be this that saves me from having to head to Hollywood hoping to catch a glimpse of the perfect man on the planet. . . .ever! Seriously. . . perfect man alive since the dawn of time. Did I just compare him to Jesus? No. I wouldn't go that far. Still Zachary Levi I'm going to miss you, and Chuck and the Buymore, and the Intersect, and Casey. . . . the tears are threatening again. . I must go.

Let's play Horse!

It started as a game of horse, but then became something else altogether. To start people getting letters the shots became crazier and crazier. From having people dangle things from their ears to carrying a gas can. From switching from a basketball to a wiffle ball then balancing things on our heads. Still, it was a lot of fun to film because I got out first and way early in the game.

I love my new shoes!

New purchase and new dream

I sold the GL2 and bought the 7D. The 7D is a professional HD camera that has been used to film commercials as well as the opening sequence of SNL and many of their digital shorts. The quality is amazing and I'm super excited to try and teach myself the skills necessary to use it. The 7D is not only video, but a still image camera which when I started taking pictures yesterday it dawned on me. I know what I am going to do with my life.
I am going to move to california and become a member of the papparazzi. Then I can follow Zachary Levi around taking pictures of him all day. Eventually his stardom will become too much and one day during a mob of fans he'll reach out to me, the one paparazzi that never left his side. Yes, just like Britney Spears. Remember? She got mobbed by some fans and started dating the paparazzi dude that saved her?
Well, until I can make that a reality here is a picture of my new camera, I can't wait to see what it can do!

In 2005 my family went to visit our cousins the Hadlocks. This is what happens when I am not there to film. They go and make the best video in Hagen history. . . . .
This is all the original audio and video, I didn't edit anything I just captured it. The reason why the first part is in there is because I thought it was hilarious how JoLynn says 'if Nathan wears something than we need to find April a dress' and then April replies 'I don't know if I have one' then the next frame (literally there were no edit cuts here) is April in the dress.

Oh where oh where has my Jeffy gone?

It's been awhile, but Jeff and I have had the craziest six months of our lives and NOT IN A GOOD WAY. It's been non-stop work all the way. First it was my turn to work all day every day and now it's Jeff's. He's currently putting in over time at work and then comes home to work on other stuff making us some extra money. When we have a minute to sit and relax we don't know what to do with ourselves. We finally had a day where we were both off of work and we didn't want to be couped up in the house. Jeffrey had mentioned a movie trailer we had seen for a movie called 'FROZEN'. It was filmed at snow basin and looked like the dumbest thing ever. Naturally we jumped at the chance to see such a lame movie. All I can say is I am glad I wore my sweatshirt. I had the hood pulled over my eyes and my hands on my ears during a couple of scenes. At one point I said to Jeff 'I'm going to have to leave, I'm going to pass out'
Let's just say it's a pretty intense 'gory' movie. Who would have thought I'd be able to 'sort of' watch movies like that one day. Jeff sure has helped me get there. Nothing phases him.
